Makes 4 Servings
*If you do not own a waffle iron, these can create fluffy pancakes on a griddle or skillet.
*In place of applesauce, one mashed ripe banana can be a substitute
Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups Gluten-free flour
¼ cup Ground flax
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
2 tsp Ground cinnamon
¼ tsp Salt
2 tbsp Brown sugar
¾ cup Applesauce
½ tsp Vanilla
1 cup Water
Steps:
Preheat waffle iron and use avocado spray to oil surface.
In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients; flour, ground flax, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, salt, and brown sugar.
After dry ingredients are whisked, add applesauce and vanilla until combined.
Add water and mix.
Pour batter into waffle iron to make your first waffle.
In between each waffle, respray iron.
