As I am 1,000 miles away from my favorite acai bowl restaurant, I had to recreate a smoothie bowl at home. This bowl is full of nutrition, flavor, protein, and vibrant color. This colorful bowl is a versatile recipe, it can be made for breakfast, lunch, or a mid-day snack.
Smoothie Ingredients:
1 cup Triple berry blend, frozen (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
1/2 cup Oat milk
1 scoop of Gainful protein powder
1 tbsp. Honey
Topping Ingredients:
1/2 Banana, sliced
1 tbsp. Chia seeds
Handful of granola cereal
1 tbsp. Honey
Steps:
In a blender, combine all the smoothie ingredients and blend until smooth and thick. To thin, add more oat milk or water. To thicken, add ice cubes or more berries.
Pour the smoothie in a bowl, a top with sliced bananas, chia seeds, granola, and drizzle honey.
