A best friend of mine's mom made these often during our middle school years and every now and then they are exactly the dessert I crave. Simple ingredients and a fun spin of regular rice krispy treats.
Ingredients
6 cups Fruity Pebble cereal
42 regular-sized marshmallows, about one bag
1/3 cup Coconut oil
Steps
In a medium pot, melt the coconut oil at low heat.
Stir in the marshmallows using a rubber spatula, stirring occasionally to make sure all the marshmallows melt.
Add the Fruity Pebbles and continue to stir until all pebbles are coated.
Spray an 8x8 glass pan with avocado oil and pour the Fruity Pebble marshmallow mixture into the pan, spreading and flattening evenly.
Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
